It is my belief that long-term wellness is about prevention, and that with the right tools and support, patients can create a sustainable state of health for themselves.
To support her credentials, Dr. Rahim is certified by the chiropractic national examining boards of Canada and the United States, and is a member of the British Columbia Chiropractic Association, British Columbia College of Chiropractic, Canadian Chiropractic Association, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and the Society of Weight-Training Specialists. She has also completed courses in Selective Functional Movement Assessment® (SFMA), and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization® (DNS).
Shamira’s approach is to work closely with patients to ensure she fully understands their needs and then develop a healing plan that begins with treating immediate symptoms. This plan is fully supported by education about the patient’s condition and recommending options for creating long-term health and a balanced lifestyle.
Shamira also has a personal interest in the Mind-Body connection, and is continuously pursuing knowledge that supports the innate healing capacities in all of us.
